Historic Milestone
In 1974, MITAC introduced the first microprocessor system to Taiwan,
setting a course for development parallel to that of the island's IT
technology. After decades of endeavor, MITAC now uses its unique

1974 - 1979
¡E1974 Founded in Taipei with a total capital of 2 million NT dollars.

Starting from the most traditional automatic control system of silo and
flour mill plant, and auction system of hog, flower, fruit and
vegetables, MiTAC Inc. has build up its leading position in the
automation and control territory. The auction system made by MiTAC has
improved the initial disorder in a wide range. In the heavy industrial
and manufacturing field, MiTAC has also implemented the process control
system according to client requirements, which makes products under

Located in the northern part of Taiwan near Keelung Harbor, Chi-Tu
Manufacturing Center is positioned as a customization boutique in the
Group. The Center performs specific customized tasks from design,
assembly, testing, delivery, and installation with high reliability,
