Located in the northern part of Taiwan near Keelung Harbor, Chi-Tu
Manufacturing Center is positioned as a customization boutique in
the Group. The Center performs specific customized tasks from
design, assembly, testing, delivery and installation with high
reliability, high availability and high flexibility, which
definitely meet some specific requirements in system integration and
automation projects.
Over the years, the Center has been equipped with automatic
facilities and flexible assembly lines that provides a wide range of
products including ruggedized computers, mission critical products,
and other tailor-made industrial computing products that can be used
in special environments to meet the special requirements, such as
mini-banks, clerk-free banks, transportation, heavy industry and
military defense.
Acquired the ISO 9000:2000 quality certification in 2001, MiTAC's
products and services always conform to the ISO QA requirements at
the strictest level. For many years, MiTAC has been the best OEM
partner of Hitachi Japan and the Ministry of National Defense with
remarkable 99.8% production yield rate.
Since its foundation, the Center has dedicated itself to the design
of innovative, sophisticated and high-performance products. MiTAC
devotes around 3% of total revenue to its R&D budget, per annum, to
ensure the continued excellent R&D capabilities. Recently, MiTAC is
making progress on the development of ATM, SCS, and other equipments
for financial and defense markets.
