MiTAC has
been integral in the integration, development, consultation and
maintenance of the Ministry of Finance’s, Taiwan’s large scale
Integrated Tax System for over 30 years. This has resulted in the
completion of many complimentary systems that can be developed and
customized for a wide range of applications.
Taiwan National Tax Program Phase Implementation
Our dual-phased, cross platform system
provides data exchange through Internet and Gateways using different
platforms, with over 27,000 networked computers, covering the government
offices of customs, social, healthcare, law enforcement, financial,
economic, judicial, labor affairs, and union services. MiTAC has managed
to provide a total solution to meet and exceed Taiwan’s tax
infrastructure needs for the consumer, business and government. The
latest phase of this project was completed in 2002 and MiTAC is
participating in maintenance support until the next phase is announced.
Value Added Tax System Migration
and Operation Support
MiTAC has recently implemented and
continues to provide operational support, for Valued Added Tax, a new
regulation passed by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2002. This
large tax deployment has been developed across all existing platforms to
ensure continuity across all users in business and government.
E-Interpretation of Financial Data
MiTAC has provided new e-services
pertaining to the distribution of financial information integration
across tax applications in web services for consumers, businesses and
government users.
E-Network Service System for
Businesses and Organizations
MiTAC is continuing to be involved in
E-service systems that incorporate J2EE technology, CA mechanisms,
portal design and operation, consultation services and PKI mechanisms
for small and medium sized businesses and organizations.
